Application engineer

This individual will be responsible for pre and post-sales activity in support of Edality software products. Focus for this position will be the support of our simulation products.

This role will play an integral part in working with leads and potential customers, identifying critical engineering bottlenecks and other problems and positioning our solutions to best solve these issues. As part of the sales team, you will provide technical support in the areas of simulation and modeling for pre-sales activities including product demonstrations, customer evaluations and presentations. In addition, you will service existing customers in the form of training, telephone support and on-site visits.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, plus a strong background in analog circuits and devices.
• Knowledge or experience in the market of PCB design is required.
• Must be familiar with the design of electrical systems, as well as have
• experience with UNIX and/or NT operating systems.
• Knowledge of circuit simulation, CAE, and /or circuit design is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of users a must.

The position requires travel.
